WorldSkills

WorldSkills London 2011 will be a global showcase for UK plc. Northern Ireland has traditionally done very well at the WorldSkills competitions. Preparations are well underway in Northern Ireland to hopefully produce another medalist. The WorldSkills Showcase combines displays from the Engineering Training Council, who have been helping with the organisation of local skills competitions and WorldSkills themselves, who are an international not for profit membership organisation comprising of 52 member countries/regions dedicated to raising the status and standards of vocational education and training worldwide. There will also be an opportunity to meet medalists from past championships.
